Jeff Reinke is the founder of The Marriage Resource and pastor of the Marriage & Family Ministry at North Coast Calvary Chapel located in Carlsbad, California.  Jeff obtained his BA from the University of Southern California and his MA from Trinity Graduate School of Theology and Azusa Pacific University.  His wife Robin is a licensed marriage and family counselor with a practice in north county San Diego.  Together they have been married 23  years, have two children and have many years of hands-on experience in helping strengthen and restore marriages in the Christian community.


 matt-and-amyMatt & Amy Stoehr – Prayer Resource Coordinators

Matthew and Amy Stoehr have a passion for helping people discover God’s purpose for their lives—especially through prayer.  Together they have served for 25 years as the founding senior pastors of The River Family Church in Vista, California.  Matt and Amy have been happily married for 27 years and are very close to their four children. They are committed to helping build strong marriages and families and reaching the world with the love of Jesus Christ.  Matt graduated from Purdue University with an accounting degree and Amy from the University of Arizona and the University of Texas as a Physical Therapist. As a part of The Marriage Resource Team, the Stoehrs are active in helping to establish a solid foundation of  united prayer, praying for marriages and equipping people in effective prayer.  Their desire is to ignite and equip couples to develop a “prayer saturated marriage and family.”


konny-and-paulKonny Thompson – Editorial & Production Manager

Konny Thompson has been married to her husband Paul for 39 years and together they have raised four children.  She obtained her B.A. from San Diego State University and has worked in publishing in a variety of positions from staff writer to editorial manager of such organizations as World Vision and William Carey Library.  She has served for years as a leader in Women’s Ministries at North Coast Calvary Chapel and as a trainer with TMR.  Konny brings her writing and editing skills to TMR along with a great passion for helping equip Christians to enjoy healthy marriages.

Paul Thompson – Board Member, TMR Chair of Governance Committee

Paul and his wife Konny have been married for 39 years and have four children and one grandchild.  Paul’s career in the nonprofit sector has spanned nearly 41 years, most of which has been in the international humanitarian arena where he has traveled to more than 100 countries.  He has worked for organizations such as World Vision, Operation Blessing, MAP International and Project Concern International.  An experienced consultant and executive coach, Mr. Thompson is currently the Executive Director of the Better World Trust, a philanthropic organization that provides grant making and social impact investments focused on the sectors of child development, health & environment and economic development both locally and globally.  Paul and Konny have been enthusiastic participants in and facilitators of the various programs offered by The Marriage Resource.


Julie Hernandez – Web Development Manager/Graphic Design

With over 15 years experience in graphic design, web design, print media and customer relations, Julie now brings her skills and talent to The Marriage Resource to help individuals strengthen their marriages and themselves by finding this invaluable resource through The Marriage Resource’s internet presence.

Julie graduated from SDSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. She is owner of Design Star Media, a full service Web Development, Graphic Design and Printing company.

Julie and her husband Juan, a Marriage and Family Therapist and Co-owner of a growing drug and alcohol detox facility in San Clemente, have been married for 10 years and live in Oceanside with their giant Goldendoodles, Macaroni and Barkley. She has attended the Womenskills workshop and has seen first hand the unique experience of self evaluation that can help heal yourself to create a stronger marriage overall.
